MEET ALECS YOUNG

Meet Joey Barnhill

While developing his business skills in the energy industry for nearly 20 years, Joey started doing real estate by buying single family homes in 2009. He eventually got his realtor/broker license in 2015, throughout the time helping others invest in real estate as well as investing himself. Joey first invested in single family homes where he flipped and rented properties. Eventually switching to multifamily in 2019, he started wholesaling multifamily properties as well as transitioning all of his single family portfolio into apartments and other multifamily. He is now growing his portfolio of apartments by continuing to invest and sponsor value add apartment deals.

Meet Alecs Young

Alecs was in the automotive industry for a number of years, managing a Chevrolet service center for 4 years at Pella Motors and a heavy equipment dealership in Rosenberg for 3 years. He has been investing in real estate since 2009. Alecs has a variety of experience in the real estate space from renovating and flipping houses, purchasing and operating retail centers, purchasing and selling retail, and buying and renting single-family homes and apartment complexes. Along with the rentals Alecs holds, he also owns a real estate wholesale company.

JOEY’S STORY

Joey holds a double major in Management Information Systems (MIS) and Finance from Texas A&M University as well as a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from Rice University with a focus in Entrepreneurship and Finance. Joey enjoys hiking and traveling with his wife in his free time, as well as giving back by volunteering in the community.

MEET JOEL TOWNER

JOEL STORY

Joel holds a law degree from Baylor University School of Law, where he graduated magna cum laude. He also holds a bachelor of arts degree from Drake University, majoring in political science and communication. He is a licensed attorney in Texas. Joel enjoys back-country hiking, sailing, and landscape photography, and gives back by, among other things, representing indigent tenants in pro bono legal matters.
